Bülent studied medicine at Hacettepe University in Ankara, then completed six years of specialist plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery training at Istanbul Medical Faculty. He holds the European Board qualification in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery (FEBOPRAS).

After a plastic surgery fellowship at Waikato Hospital and a hand surgery fellowship at Middlemore Hospital, he worked as a consultant plastic, reconstructive and hand surgeon at Waikato Hospital from 2012 to 2023, including as Clinical Director of Plastic Surgery (2018–2019).

He treats bone, ligament, tendon and nerve problems of the hand and wrist, Dupuytren's contracture and arthritis, as well as cosmetic facial, breast and body surgery and skin cancer. He also performs hair transplants through hairclinic.nz.

Memberships: NZAPS, ASAPS, ISAPS, ISHRS.

Deirdre graduated with honours from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2003. During surgical training she completed a research master's in surgery, helped establish Ireland's first graduate-entry medical programme and taught anatomy to medical students.

She completed specialist training in plastic surgery and passed the fellowship exams in plastic and reconstructive surgery in 2015. After working as a locum consultant at Galway University Hospital, she moved to New Zealand for a burns fellowship at Middlemore Hospital.

She joined Waikato Hospital in 2017, where she later led the Plastic Surgery Department as Head of Department. She also operates at the National Burns Unit at Middlemore Hospital.

Treatments include Dupuytren's contracture, carpal tunnel, trigger finger and De Quervain's, skin cancer surgery, breast surgery, burns and scar reconstruction, and body contouring.

Memberships: New Zealand Association of Plastic Surgeons; Australian and New Zealand Burn Association.

Simon qualified in 2007 and completed higher surgical training in Yorkshire, UK, in 2017. This included two competitively awarded Training Interface Group (TIG) fellowships: cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in Newcastle upon Tyne, and hand surgery at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre, Derby, where he completed the BSSH hand surgery diploma.

He moved to New Zealand in 2017 for further fellowships in plastic and hand surgery and was appointed as a consultant in Hamilton in September 2019. In 2021 he became clinical lead for hand surgery in the Plastic Surgery Department at Waikato Hospital.

His clinical interests include hand surgery, skin cancer, breast surgery, and surgical and non-surgical aesthetic treatments.
